History

It is in the heart of the Médoc but more precisely in the north of the Haut-Médoc, bordering the Gironde, that Saint-Seurin de Cadourne, largely forgotten by the communal appellations, is home to Château Muret.

In 1985, Mr. Boufflerd,
a great wine enthusiast, decided in this village which adjoins Saint-Estèphe, a stone’s throw from the river, to relaunch a winery already listed in the 1850 edition of Charles Cock’s guide.
